Fire Under The Horizon looks to Europe for its inspiration. We believe that some of the most exciting work in theatre comes from mainland Europe, in the companies and ensembles who see the written text as only the beginning of the exploration.

We believe theatre is a collaborative art. It is the coming together of all of its artists - writer, director, designer, composer, choreographer, and performer – to engage with an audience, and the response that they provide, which makes it unique and the most compelling of art forms. Fire Under The Horizon looks to draw on a broad range of creative minds to create productions through that intrinsic collaboration.

Whether tackling new work or turning to classical canon, our productions aim to explore their meanings and place them in a 21st century context.
