FRED was established by artistic director Robert F. Ball and brings together a range of Midlands-based talent.

FRED seeks out the very best actors, designers, and writers to bring high quality professional theatre to non-traditional theatre spaces.

FRED's mission is summed up as CLASSIC DRAMA—CONTEMPORARY THEATRE. It re-engages with the classics in contemporary styles while maintaining affordable ticket prices.
