Green Gecko Television was founded in August 2001. The Name Green Gecko, comes from an ancient myth about Gecko Spirit Guides, which are said to help humans find their true dreams.

In May 2004 Green Gecko Television bought a controlling interest in Clarion Television to strengthen it's business television links.
Clarion Television was then incorporated into Green Gecko Television in June 2004. Clarion Television was a founder member of The Completely Creative Group.

In July 2005, Roman Sky Films was created as an offshoot of Green Gecko Television to assist independent film producers and directors.

Today Green Gecko is known for its creative Post Production, Scientific CG Animations and Factual Series. Future projects include Comedy and Children's Programming.
