Hannaywood was founded in 1998 by Das Abra.In its short history it has quietly become a formidable presence in the film world.Internationally, Hannaywood has produced many short films, several features, numerous corporate projects and pop promos.Ranging from conventional linear format, to more experimental nonlinear films and installation art films.Their preference is to innovate outside the envelope and cross existing boundaries to new multiple frontiers for innovative exploitation.
The Dublin studios encompasses the largest single studio space in the British Isles and have hosted such films as ‘The Magnificent Ambersons’, 'Agnes Brown', ‘When The Sky Falls’, ‘League of Gentleman’s Apocalypse’, ‘Asylum’, ‘Bloody Sunday’, ‘The Escapist’ etc.
