From their website: "Haphazard Media is a Scottish-based film production company that focuses on commercially-oriented feature films, short films, digital content, developing new talent and having a lot of fun.

We started life before any of us knew about production companies, distributors, business strategy, story structure or any of the swathe of fun things that we now deal with on a day-to-day basis. It all started in Dumfries (before we ever had a name), where as geeky teenagers we used a crappy DV camera to film ourselves skateboarding into rubbish bins and other things of similarly high culture.

Since then we’ve all gone our various ways, made new friends, studied, learned a lot of skills and without much of a plan come back together and started making real films. The realisation that we now have to do paperwork and spend a lot of money on equipment has made us pretty focused on making good films, and luckily for us people have noticed. With the help of South West Scotland Screen Commission and Dumfries and Galloway Council we’ve pieced together a company and, amongst other films, made a BAFTA winning film called ZOMBIE MUSICAL.

As a result of that project, we’ve now been pitched into the world of feature films. We’ve had particular help from brilliant Scottish production company Black Camel Pictures, who are co-producing the feature version of ZOMBIE MUSICAL with us, and more recently we’ve been delighted to work with Sarah Radclyffe, who has joined us as Executive Producer on CITY.

And that’s basically how we got to where we are now. We’re currently developing several feature films, two of which are slated to shoot in 2012, and a couple of webseries, as well as continuing to make shorts to keep us occupied and off the streets."
