Headline Pictures was launched by the three principal founders, Kevin Hood, Stewart Mackinnon and Mark Shivas, all highly-experienced and award-winning filmmakers.
Created to produce feature films and television drama, the company is focussed on working with the most inspiring writing and directing talent. Across genres, we seek to make intelligent and entertaining programmes of quality, originality and distinction.
The company works closely with major broadcasters and studios in Britain, Europe and America, including BBC Drama, BBC Films, Channel Four, HBO, ITV, Scott Free, Mark Sennett Entertainment, Participant Media, Summit Entertainment and The Weinstein Company. We also collaborate with the UK Film Council, Northern Film & Media and Scottish Screen on a range of projects.
