Founded in 2008 Hofesh Shechter Company performs the work of Artistic Director Hofesh Shechter to a world-wide audience.

Recognised as one of the UK’s most exciting contemporary artists, Hofesh Shechter made his choreographic debut in 2003. Working both as composer and choreographer he is renowned for creating the scores for all his dance pieces.

The Hofesh Shechter Company is a cast of highly-skilled and individually talented international dancers and musicians, who tour year round with a repertoire of Hofesh Shechter Choreography; including Uprising (2006), In Your Rooms (2007), Political Mother (2009), The Art of Not Looking Back (2009)and Political Mother: Choreographer’s Cut (2011).

Hofesh Shechter Company create raw, physical live performances with a unique style of contemporary music and dance.

Hofesh is an Associate Artist of Sadler’s Wells and Hofesh Shechter Company is Resident Company at Brighton Dome.
