The IsleBoro Theatre Company was started in 2008, and under the supervision of artistic director Kevin Kiely their first production, Frank McGuinness' 'Someone Who'll Watch Over Me' sold out at Bell Table Arts Centre, Limerick. This production was revived in February 2009 at The Mill Studio, Yvonne Arnaud in Guildford where it again sold out.

The company is made up of NCDT Drama school graduates in both performing and production with the directing talent sourced from outside of the company.
