Islington Community Theatre is one of London’s most exciting grassroots theatre companies; a livewire ensemble of professional theatre makers and local people - young and old. We make innovative, exciting work in one of London’s most diverse and challenging boroughs.
Although run only by a small part-time team, we work extensively across Islington and North London. The bulk of our work is currently created in collaboration with young people - every week we work with around 150 local young people aged 9-22. Each one is offered a place within the company on the basis of how much we feel they'll benefit from working with us.
We aim to produce the highest quality work possible - with an emphasis on being brave, inventive and hugely flexible.
