In 2007 Jamie decided to set up his own production company. Since then he has produced the play 'Art', the children's show 'Speight of the Art' and the overwhelmingly successful pantomime 'Cinderella', Lincoln Drill Hall's first professional pantomime, which played to almost six thousand people in just two weeks. Jamie also enjoys producing corporate entertainment and in 2008 was delighted to be providing the entertainment for the Lincolnshire Business Awards, being held at the Engine Shed.

2008 was an exciting year for Jamie which saw him produce two spectacular local pantomimes, Aladdin at the Lincoln Drill Hall and Cinderella at the Trinity Arts Centre in Gainsborough breaking box office records at both. Further musical productions included a regional tour of ‘High School Hits’ a fantastic live and interactive pop show and ‘A Night of Musicals’, starring past and current west end performers at the Majestic Theatre Retford.

2009 has been the biggest year so far. He produced a nationwide spring tour of John Godber’s ‘Bouncers’ along with a second successful tour of ‘High School Hits 2’. Jamie was approached by Lincoln Castle to produce two weekends of entertainment this August. ‘The Adventures of Robin Hood’ and ‘The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged’ and both shows promise to be a wonderful summer treat for all the family!

Christmas will see Jamie Marcus Productions produce the Lincoln Drill Hall Pantomime for the third consecutive year as well as Retford’s Majestic Theatre pantomime for the first year. 2010 is already booking up with a major U.K tour of the thrilling play ‘Misery’ as well as a third successive year of ‘High School Hits’ Prom night.
