Centre for the performing arts, housing many professional and amateur productions in its 365 seat auditorium and its 50 seat studio theatre.

It is named after the actor Kenneth More, who died in 1982. Kenneth More himself had no particular connection with Ilford, but in the late 1960s/early 1970s it was the fashion to name theatres after prominent living performers (e.g. the Olivier, Ashcroft, Redgrave, Yvonne Arnaud & Thorndike Theatres all date from around this time.)
