Kipper Tie Theatre was formed by Writer/Director Bernie C. Byrnes and Writer/Composer Jim Fowler in Newcastle upon Tyne. Our aim is to produce immersive, educational, exciting and above all entertaining theatre for children of all ages. Our energetic approach, which mixes acting with dance, music and mime, is attracting increasing recognition and has led to our skills being 'loaned out' to companies producing theatre for adults.

As well as performing at theatres throughout the country, Kipper Tie Theatre have performed at a number of festivals including the world famous Glastonbury Festival.
