lifelike theatre was established by Ben Clare in 2005 to produce new, exciting, topical theatre that reflects the impact the world has on us and we have on the world.

Ben is a graduate of the Royal Court Writers Programme. His plays include The Time is Now, Greed and The Fear at New Wimbledon Studio; Old New Borrowed Blue at the Orange Tree Theatre New Writing Festival; Face in the Crowd (which was nominated for The Stage Award for Best Ensemble) at the Arcola and Underbelly (as part of the Edinburgh Fringe). Other plays include Stuck in a Rut, Dirty, Mirage, The New Black and The Dark Outside.
