Menagerie Theatre Company is the leading independent new writing company in the East of England. We seek out and support talented new writers in order to develop and produce innovative new theatre. We enable artists to become involved in the creation of new work through our focus on expanding new writing networks regionally and nationally.
We work with artists at all levels from first-time writers to nationally recognised playwrights, designers actors and producers. Over the past five years the company has focused on establishing a middle ground that can discover new work, feed other companies with playwrights and productions and operate as a regional resource for individuals and organisations.
