Netflix is the world's leading streaming platform for digital content, in the form of both film & television. The subscription operates in 26 languages and has 139.26 million members across over 50 countries.

The platform historically streamed content from external production houses and studios, however in recent years Netflix has invested heavily in creating its own original content, partially to provide unique output that can't be found anywhere else and partially to ensure it is not dependent on external parties for licensed properties.
