The New Century Theatre Company came into being on the first day of the year 2000. It is the brainchild of Bill Bowen and his daughter, Jennifer Rigby. The company has two aims; to bring live, professional theatre to the towns and villages of the West Midlands and North Wales. and to provide employment opportunities for up and coming actors who, in their chosen career, need to find the roles that convince audiences and casting agents of their talents.

Since we began, our shows have received so many favorable reviews and our audiences have grown to such a size that we have decided to further challenge our actors by taking them on a longer tour and to larger venues.

We still tour to the rural venues, taking a full set, authentic costumes and an enthusiastic company; a different venue every night and very different audiences. And our actors build the set, organise the props and sometimes operate the lights, sound and the curtains! And each year some of them return for more of the same!
