With a track record spanning over 10 years, many would describe NAPA as the lifeblood of the young performing arts community in Hull city centre.

Aspiring performers aged between three and 19 can hone their dance, drama and musical theatre skills in a creative environment that gives them direct access to industry experts.

Based in a building dating back to 1904, the academy runs 90 different courses and classes throughout the academic year, as well as working in partnership with many schools and community groups across the city.

NAPA is a charity and therefore endeavors to keep its fees low. Driven purely by its educational and artistic aims, all surplus funds are ploughed straight back into further developing the academy.

The Academy is proud both of its professional standards and its caring ethos, believing that the confidence and creativity that can be gained from participation in performing arts is invaluable in later life.
