The Rec Youth Theatre Company, is Buxton’s well-established theatre company for young people and still works to the same ideas and principles it was founded on.

We deliver weekly drama classes that develop performing arts skills, are creative, fun, and help build confidence. Each member of the company is valued and everyone’s development is at the heart of our work. As well as weekly classes, REC offers platforms throughout the year for creating new work as well as publicly performed plays.

We pride ourselves on offering our members exciting, professional and challenging training and opportunities, as well as providing a space to be creative and work with like-minded people.
