For over 20 years, Tony Jordan has been top of his game as one of the UK’s most successful screenwriters. But in 2005, he was ready for a new challenge, which came in the form of his own production company - Red Planet Pictures. Established that year, with the backing of KUDOS, Red Planet Pictures was commissioned by the BBC to make HOLBY BLUE, a police drama set in the same fictitious town as its siblings, CASUALTY and HOLBY CITY. HOLBY BLUE then went on to be re-commissioned for an extended second series.
