Back in 2008 on a return flight from the Sahara Desert the idea for Scruffbag Productions was born…....'
Over the last 6 years the Scruffbag company members (Krissi, Hen and Vix) have delivered acting, drama and film making workshops in and around London.
Their work has included mentoring youths from under-privileged areas, teaching and directing acting at various Drama and Stage schools, running film-making workshops at UCL University AND if that wasn't enough they regularly visit the Saharawi Refugee camps in West Africa where they collaborate with the Saharawis, empowering them through the arts to tell the story of their struggle for independence over the last 35 years.
Don't be fooled, this is not just a scruffy organisation of reprobates who deliver the most creative, fun-filled and dynamic workshops to the outsiders of society; Krissi, Hen and Vix are also successful actors in their own right working for the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky.
The vision for Scruffbag Productions will always be to use the workshop environment to create a unique style of film and theatre, drawing on the experiences of the people they meet, the stories they hear and friendship they share.
