Sparkle and Dark are an award-winning London based professional theatre company who make challenging and visually stunning theatre.

Using a combination of puppetry, live music and original writing, Sparkle and Dark tour their work around the UK and have been supported by the Arts Council and the Wellcome Trust since they began in 2009. They have gained awards (Best Writing, Best Family Show, Best Actress nomination, Wellcome Trust Arts Award) and 5 star reviews for their shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and other UK festivals.

Specialising in puppetry, Sparkle and Dark always design and build their own puppets to specifically suit each piece and take puppet making commissions from other companies as well as holding puppetry workshops.
