SuTCo is one of the leading student theatre companies in the UK and vibrant student city of Sheffield. Each year we stage nine shows in the university’s 218-seater Drama Studio and this year we are expanding into other venues such as The Edge up at Endcliffe Student Village. We have teams of experienced people working in fields of tech, publicity and costume, but we are always looking for new people to get involved!

Over the past two years, SuTCo has enjoyed success with the National Student Drama Festival having our production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream shortlisted last year, and in 2008, having Beautiful Thing selected for the festival. At the same festival, SuTCo was given the Judges Award for Promoting Student Theatre. The last year has seen comedies, physical theatre, new student writing, and fantastic twists on Shakespeare and classic pieces, and we expect 2010/11 to be even better.
