Electric Shadow is currently in pre-production on The Hippopotamus, adapted from Stephen Fry's bestselling novel starring Roger Allam and directed by John Jencks.

In March 2014 The Electric Shadow Company's debut feature The Fold was released online in cinemas across the UK. The multi-award winning drama stars Catherine McCormack as woman driven into a volatile relationship with a young harvest worker following the tragic death of her daughter.

In January 2014, Electric Shadow established Electric Shadow Fund, which will invest $4.5m in international feature film projects in the $3-15m budget range. ESF will fund 3-5 films in the next year with investments of $150,000 to $750,000. Projects to date include Ami Canaan Mannʼs contemporary romance ʻYour Right Mindʼ, Corin Hardyʼs feature debut ‘The Woods’, Peter Hewitt’s family adventure ‘The Wonder 3D’ and ‘The Trust’, starring Nicolas Cage and Jack Huston.
