The Movement is a theatre company. Other things too, but that’s not for here. Pop culture has eaten itself, and we are the stomach pump (no we’re not). We exist to bring theatre back to the unifying, excoriating and ridiculous spirit of Classical Athens or Early Modern London.

The Stage have said that we could ‘rival the RSC’ and the British Theatre Guide called us ‘uniformly excellent’ and deserving of West End exposure. When we were still students we took a show to the Edinburgh Fringe that was Cambridge University Amateur Dramatic Club’s most profitable show ever.

Since graduating we have toured plays nationally and internationally, with critical and commercial success. Our most recent show, a reconstruction of the Earl of Rochester’s SODOM, received five star reviews and only made a few people leave in disgust.
