The Other Way Works is a Birmingham based theatre company formed in 2001. They create highly interactive performance experiences, frequently for small groups of audiences. Their focus is on your experience as an audience member, and they see the performance of the work as the offering of a gift to each member of the audience.

They create their work in a deeply collaborative style, and constantly push these collaborations in new ways.

Their work is usually site-specific or responsive, and they place great importance on ensuring that the narrative and dramaturgy of the work reflects the site in which it is performed, and that the form compliments the content.

The Company is made up of a group of talented artists brought together under the artistic direction of Katie Day
