The Owle Schreame theatre company was established in Cambridge in 2008 by Artistic Director Brice Stratford, specifically to explore the realities of Oral Storytelling and Medieval & Renaissance English Theatre Practice. Over time the company began to evolve the techniques it found; incorporating the most
experimental and radical of approaches to rediscovering the validity of the oldest. The resulting style was unique; they have been honing it ever since.
