The Philm Company was set up by commercials director Phil Hawkins and it's first foray into feature film making came in 2007 when Phil was approached to create a feature length adaptation of the classic greek play 'The Trojan Woman' for the educational sector. The film - 'The Women Of Troy' - went onto win Best Director at the New York Independent Film and Video Festival in 2008 and continues to be sold to schools, colleges and universities worldwide.
