The Wardrobe Theatre is a new performance space which opened in May 2011 above the White Bear pub on St.

Michael's Hill providing a mix of theatre, comedy and regular local nights. The Wardrobe Theatre is run on a voluntary basis by a team of experienced theatre producers across Bristol who are willing to put in the hours to make something special.

The focus of the venue is:
1. To programme exciting, diverse events and not be afraid to take risks.

2. To support up-and-coming companies in the region.

3. To remain accessible and affordable for audiences.
