Time2Shine Productions is a performing arts and production company aiming to improve communication and raise self-esteem through access to creative arts opportunities. Our philosophy is that "The Journey is as Important as the Destination" and we encourage the participants in our events to develop their own original material, learn skills and try new things.

Time2Shine creates bespoke activities and workshops which are custom designed to meet the needs and interests of our clients. These can include singing/songwriting sessions, themed drama activities, emotional literacy groups, shows and productions, team-building programmes, arts and crafts workshops, murder mystery events, movie making days, comedy nights and much, much more! We can provide workshops for corporate functions and conferences, and help with event planning. We work with all ages, children, teenagers and adults. We are happy to work on projects that last an hour, a day or are on-going across months. One of our most popular activities is our Boomwhacker Orchestra workshop. Boomwhackers are precision tuned pipes, each colour relates to a different musical note. Using non-verbal communication we help the group to transform into an orchestra and create rhythm and music by hitting the pipes against their palms, elbows, knees... or any other surface! We encourage participants to take turns conducting the “orchestra”, and the very physical nature of the activity releases endorphins, creating a natural high, increased concentration and a sense of community with the group through a shared experience. We love running these sessions with people of all ages, from primary school kids to grandparents.

We have a team of freelance specialists who work with us on some of our projects. Our professional backgrounds range from therapeutic to educational via music, art and drama, and we are especially interested in new ideas and innovative ways of engaging with people of all ages. Those of us who work with young people and vulnerable adults are CRB checked.

Our current client base includes schools, community groups and charities. We have worked with organisations as diverse as the London Jewish Cultural Centre, Goldsmiths University and a women’s mental health charity.

We are an inclusive organisation promoting collaboration and creativity. Working together is what we’re all about. We aim to be environmentally aware and often our props and costumes come to us through recycling projects, and we pass on what we no longer need to others. In keeping with this idea is the collective responsibility we have for our wider community, we believe that everyone has something to contribute.
