Touchpaper Television is part of the RDF Media Group. It is an independent production company founded by Managing Director, Rob Pursey in 2001.

Rob's first steps in the industry were with independent Friday Productions in 1991. He left to script edit The Bill for two and a half years. In June 1995 he joined Carlton Television to work on the development of in-house drama including, amongst others, Kavanagh QC, Inspector Morse and Cadfael. Rob was co-creator and Executive Producer of highly acclaimed series The Vice, starring Ken Stott, for ITV1. He also Executive Produced the two-parter The Hunt by Tony Marchant and both series of Big Bad World by Nick Martin.
