Edilberto worked in Brazil with media and publicity for several years, in front of and behind cameras, for TV and theatre.

Between 1990 and 1991 he started to prepare a project for an Environmental Organization in Brazil - Planeta Verde (Green Planet). He was so involved in that work, that he became their Director of Communication for the next 13 years and the Vice president of another organization - SOS Fauna Brasil, for 5 years, both working as volunteer until he left Brazil in 2003.

This work enabled him to be autonomous and devote alot of energy and enthusiasm for those organizations - even winning 2 awards in a TV commercial produced for Planeta Verde!
