    About me

    Angela Gourley is an award winning Producer, Series Producer and Director with over 15 years’ experience in television documentary and docudrama. She specialised in high end adventure/Travel and history programmes for Discovery and Nat Geo including ‘Lonely Planet’, ‘Bear Grylls Caught on Camera’, ‘Gold Rush’, and ‘Globetrekker’.She has also produced comedy shows ‘Borat’ and ‘Ian Wright Live’ as well as factual entertainment and obs docs for Channel 4, MTV, ITV and Channel 5.

    Angela is now a film producer and is currently developing projects for feature and TV drama production with her new company Amber Eye Films. She has just completed a short film which is already winning awards at festivals, and is currently seeking a television series to complete her slate. She has three projects in early development, a comedy drama set in Wales, a comedy drama tv series set in Scotland, and an option from a novel for a low budget sci fi thriller. She is interested in genre films which have a strong hook and which blend commercial values with important messages. She has a particular interest in looking for projects with strong female leads or female ensembles. You can find more information about the company at

    She was a member of the 2018 BAFTA BFI network which chooses the best UK talent making debut features. She was recently awarded a Creative England grant for business development and strategy for Amber Eye Films.
