About me
I have recently graduated from University with a degree in Costume Construction and I am now looking to expand my knowledge to become a more well rounded professional. I have previously taken a 2 year course in Stage management and stage technology and I am looking at other short courses to add to my repertoire such as wig care and dye and breakdown. So far after graduating I have been constantly working. Between jobs I have been working on my Millinery business which is a great passion of mine. I sell hats, head pieces, bridal accessories and flower girl dresses. For the last 5 years I have constantly been in a theatre work environment in which as greatly prepared me for the world of employment. I understand the demands needed and the standard required which I think I have proved in my work so far. Recently I was a Costume Supervisor at UK Theatre School for the Pantomime Dick McWhittington. This was a real learning curve for me as it was first time managing a team. I think I really stepped up my game and brought everything I had to this job. I found out that I learn fast when thrown into something and that I have a confidence I didn't know I had. I look forward to bring all this to my next job and hopefully learning something new in the process.Referees:
