  About me

  Looking on the bright side, saying yes and working hard to make things happen - that's who I am in a nutshell. From a skills point of view, I'm a pro at scheduling, budget management, working with multiple people and teams to get things done, fierce attention to detail and foreseeing problems before they arrive. I’m here to explore opportunities to move these skills to the world of film or TV production from my experience as an Event Producer within the world of sport and entertainment.

  I've spent the past 4 years working on small and large scale live events both in the UK and internationally. I've taken projects from ideation through to delivery as a lead or support. From creative development, to briefing & managing creatives, set designers, sound & lighting, catering and many other suppliers. Creating production schedules and live event run of show documents, recruiting support staff, managing complex logistics, overseeing health & safety, working with high profile talent and being the go to person on at live event itself - metaphorically fire fighting throughout!

  Not one to sit idle, I have spent the quieter time of 2020 brushing up on my film production knowledge, trying to fill in the gaps through online courses, industry books and in depth discussions with many friends who work in the industry. Learning about the top line process of creating many forms of content, to more technical elements and terminology such as the roles of different crew members, breaking down a script and the departments involved, what’s included in a call sheet and how scheduling comes together.

  I would love the opportunity to support in any film or TV production capacity from pre-production to onset work. As a Production Assistant, Co-ordinator or 2nd Assistant Director.
