    About me

As a student, I have experienced most main aspects of filmmaking, from pre-production to post-production, on both internal and external projects. My most recent production (Next of Kin - 10m short film) allowed me to gain experience in both the creative and logistical side of filmmaking. As well as directing the project, I co-produced with two other students and learned a lot about the administrative side of films. During Next of Kin production, I was responsible for the booking, collecting, distribution, cleaning, maintenance and returning of equipment for the entire shoot duration which included equipment such as; Arri Alexa Classic, Sigma Prime Lenses, Kino lights and much more. Although this was the first major production for me, I enjoyed the fast-paced, detail orientated practicality of it and I developed a better understanding of what it takes to produce content, on time and thoroughly.

    Additional Information

I have been as proactive as my timetable has allowed during university, taking on many collaborative projects internally and externally. I have worked with the Falmouth and Exeter Student Union (paid jobs) producing content for their social media and live feed media coverage. aI have also worked with other students, my most recent example is working with BA Textile students and producing clothing advertisements for their portfolio. These can be found on my Vimeo page, of which I will provide a link below. External projects include promotional videos for music based events and wedding coverage, again all of which can be found on my Vimeo.

More recently I have been involved with Channel 4’s ‘Secret Homes’ presented by Charlie Luxton, produced by Windfall Films. of which I was a runner for 2 weeks, handling, transporting and maintaining equipment were some of the key responsibilities on that shoot. I have also been involved in a micro-budget feature called ‘The Tape’ which saw me carrying out very similar duties, working with the ALEXA Mini LF and Cooke lenses.
