About me
Currently working in BT as a Customer Service Advisor for broadband repair. This job is a means of income until I can enter the media industry full time. In the meantime I apply for media-based jobs close to home and where possible weekend work to gain the experience needed.I am a hardworking and enthusiastic individual, especially when it comes down to film production and editing. I have spent the past three years studying post production at Staffordshire University and also worked with Mediazoo in Northern Ireland both concentrating on editing. Through both I have learnt a large amount of skills and gained experience in the editing area, I have used both Avid and Final Cut Pro. It has also built my passion for it and has helped me realise that is it the area that I would be happiest working in. Unfortunately due to being in University I have not really had much time to apply for the UK Film and TV industry, but now that I have finished my course I plan to push it as much as possible, applying to where ever I can to try and get in to the field I have spent the last 5 years studying and working on.
I have also been doing some side projects for myself on the website YouTube, by filming and editing my own videos for my own channel.
During my time at Stafford University I joined ‘The Ultimate Frisbee Society’ and 'The Beard Society'. I think this is a good way of making new friends and also being a dedicated team player.
My hobbies are cycling, skateboarding and in-line skating. Keeping fit and training at the local gym. I enjoy photography and spending time watching films old and new, as many different types as possible.
