About me
Gareth Swindail-Parry is currently studying BA (Hons) Stage Management and Technical Theatre degree at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2020, with a specialism in Sound Design.He has most recently worked as Sound Designer, Composer and Sound Operator touring two new shows from the Sherman Theatre Main Stage to The Yard in London.
Gareth has over a decade of experience as a musician and currently works as the resident sound engineer and one of the composers of the sound label 'Unredacted Productions'. His Sound Designs take influence from his musical background, using instruments, synthesis and naturalistic sound in unexpected ways, to create meaningful sound designs for the stage.
Gareth currently works as a freelance Sound Designer, Sound Operator, Sound 2 and Sound Technician for Theatre, and occasionally works on short films as a Boom Op or Production Sound Mixer
