  About me

  I am a highly motivated filmmaker with a passion for creating new and exciting content through engaging storytelling. In September 2011 I began my career in video production at Clear Blue Productions as an Edit Assistant. In the two years I was there I was promoted to a Self Shooting Director creating a variety of corporate videos covering live events, business expos, case studies and charity awareness pieces. During my time at Clear Blue I worked with clients such as Dell, Microsoft and Curry's/PC World during the production and post production phases of the projects.

  In September 2013 I joined Content is King as a Producer/Director. It is my duty to create stylish and engaging video content for clients such as Barclays, Santander UK and Morrisons from pre production through to post. I would work either independently or collaborate with our creative team and regular freelancers on case studies, internal videos, event promos and animations.

  In August 2014 I started working for G&B Agency helping to produce highly stylized videos for high end clients and small businesses. I also worked closely with the in house motion graphics designer, directing a number of short form animation projects and guidelines for graphic assets to add to on going video projects.

  I have been editing for five years using both Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro. I am a proficient editor and can colour grade to a high standard using Magic Bullet and also have a good working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. I have used a variety of broadcast cameras to a professional standard, such as the Sony F3, FS7, A7S Canon C100, C300 and a range of DSLR's. On shoots I have had extensive experience as a sound recordist and a lighting assistant, with both tungsten and LED set ups as well as setting up and using sliders, dollies with tracking and jibs.

  In my spare time I am constantly working on my own projects, as filmmaking is not just my career it's also my hobby. I have written, directed and produced a number of short films that have gained recognition at short film festivals, screenings and YouTube competitions. I also write and produce content for my own Youtube channel Ohhh Marmalde, focusing on comedy gaming reviews.

  During my career I have worked through some high pressure situations, juggling multiple projects in all stages of production and working to tight deadlines. I am a friendly and approachable person and can work well independently or within a group at every stage of a videos production.
