Storytelling has always been something that I have loved, and throughout my formative years I have sought to explore storytelling through art, writing, film and media. Subsequently, I fell in love with the filmmaking art form and chose to study Film Production at university. My course gave me experience in many aspects of the filmmaking process, specialising in Production Design in my second and third years. My work in production design led me to be Head of Department for my graduation film, a role which required me to be an effective communicator and leader, as well as, challenging myself to create the world of the film. I have also worked for a local theatre company assisting with their set design and scenic painting. I also sought to broaden my personal work, which led me to make my own documentary, which I produced, directed and edited.
Most recently I have worked as a runner for a popular television series, in the future I hope to gain more experience in different areas of film and tv.
