  About me

  My name is Marco Pileri, a determined and ambitious 28 year old guy from Bari, Italy.

  During my Degree (Hons) course in Visual Effects and Computer Graphic Animation, achieved at the European Institute of Design in Rome, I studied the visual effects production pipeline, from storyboarding to compositing through the direction, 3D elements, motion graphics video editing and compositing.

  I am a dedicated individual, enthusiastic and always willing to perform my duties to the very highest standard and I'm keen to learn new skills.

  Upon my arrival in London, I started working in a restaurant to perfect my conversational English. Working in this environment not only helped me to achieve this but in working in a team of over 60 people of different ethnicities and backgrounds, it also taught me to achieve the highest standards to stand out from the crowd as well as also developing my diplomatic skills, resolving difficult issues.

  After a year I found my first job in the industry as a runner at Milk VFX; in few months I have been promoted to Junior Compositor. During my time at Milk Vfx I have been dealing with lot of tasks such as

  rotoscoping, clean up, extractions, compositing.
