Filmmaking has been a passion of mine since my last days in secondary school. I have always been creative and this came out mostly in my work writing short form stories, which has ultimately progressed to screenwriting. But from writing the ideas that came into my head, I've always pictured and imagined these stories coming to life. This is what gave me the inspiration and desire to pursue a career within the film and TV industry.
For the past several years I have contributed to various high calibre productions, mostly focused on student productions and low budget short films. I have had various roles in these smaller scale productions, from writing to sound recording to directing. In the student productions I've focused on various roles but have mainly contributed in a production assistant role. On set running is a great thrill and experience being able to work hard in a role to make sure everything ticks over smoothly and effectively. I'm looking to build on these experiences I've already established, more roles as a production assistant before hopefully branching out into as Assistant Director role.
