Highlights
-
I have worked as the editor of a nationally broadcast television show in New Zealand under the tutelage of Emmy award winning Ken Zemke. I would often act as a camera man for the show and I have filmed live events including the annually held "Auckland Speech Awards" which is sponsored by the New Zealand Police Service. I have filmed and edited several interviews with noted academics and other notable figures.
I have gained a wide variety of both transferable and specific skills, which relate to working in media:
· Editing experience: My job as editor for the television show “Baha’i on Air” under the direction of Emmy award winning Ken Zemke provided me with extensive experience in the running of a television show. I have experience in using both Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
· Production work: I have filmed several episodes of the television show “Baha’i on Air” as well as several academic talks and live events while living in Auckland, New Zealand. I have also acted as the production manager on a number of shoots.
· Writing/Research Work: My degree has proven my ability to express critical opinions within a sustained argument. A high level of research and analytical reading was essential to reach this standard.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours Sincerely,
Matthew Laurence Jenkerson
