Highlights
-
I have directed and produced four films so far and I'm currently working on first film of my final year. I have crewed on many other films and my primary roles were camera operating and lighting technician. My preferred role is a director of photography.
In January 2011 I worked with the BBC to film a re-enactment for the programme crime watch, this involved me working with actors from the BBC. My role in this re-enactment was an extra.
In June 2011 I shadowed a freelance crew called "Finestripe" They Shot the programme "Bank on Dave" for channel 4. Whilst on set i was constantly talking to the different members of the crew and getting advice of them. This helped me understand more about each roles and responsibilities they have.
In November 2014 I had to film a business networking event and interview the guest speakers and Katy Hopkins.
In February 2015 i had to interview Martin Carr, Ian.R.McLeod, Mike Knowles and David Quantick for a kick-starter video to help raise funds for a feature film that is going to be made. -
As I am a student, my photography skills are basic but still growing. I have taken many photographs and I have an understanding as to why you take photos, the style, the composition, the angle and the meaning of a photograph. Understanding photography has helped me be a more creative film maker.
