    About me

I am a Hungarian film & theatre writer/director and production professional currently based in London. I have been making films since 2007. In 2013, I completed my first feature film Eva and Noah (as writer/director/producer) and founded Perseverance Enterprises (which comprises of Perseverance Films & Perseverance Publishing). My short film S won Prix du Public (Competition Labo) and Mention Spéciale du Jury Labo at the 2015 Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. My feature film script Black as Mud was invited to participate in the Authors-Producers Meetings organised by Maison des Scénaristes at the 2016 Cannes International Film Festival and my short film script Crossing, dealing with the European migration crisis, to the 2017 Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. To date, I have published five books. In 2015, Perseverance Enterprises changed its name to Richard Hajdú Studios. In 2018, I was selected as a participant of BAFTA’s Crew programme and was founding member of the first London-based Hungarian theatre group HubArt. The same year my transgender rape-and-revenge feature film script Sweet Heart was selected as a Quarter Finalist in the Big Break Screenwriting Competition organised by Final Draft.
