  About me

  I am a highly versatile and experienced Production Manager to the film and theatre sector, with a track record of delivering robust logistical, budgetary, administrative and technical management to productions to support the translation of a creative brief into reality.

  Having operated on a freelance basis since 2012, I possess a considerable hands-on knowledge of the broad spectrum of film production, from budgetary management to location scouting, managing production crews and creating set designs.

  With a background in theatre production, I am able to draw on wide technical expertise, with the authority to advise electrical and lighting crews.

  Some of my recent production credits include: Production Manager for Pierre Aïm on "Life Sentence" for Ben Kinsella Trust; Production Manager on Green Street III; and Theatre Manager at Ellesmere Arts Centre.

  Able to hit the ground running in any given situation, I possess exemplary problem solving skills, demonstrating a facility to think outside the box to provide innovative solutions to complex production or technical issues.

  Having worked within theatre from a very young age, it is now my goal to further develop my film career. I am entirely flexible, used to working long hours, and not afraid to step outside my comfort zone to get a job done, at all times maintaining a good sense of humour. I hope that my experience, transferable skills and positive attitude will be a considerable asset to any production company.

  Robert is a kind, hard working and exceptionally dedicated individual who I could not recommend more highly. I have worked with Robert on 3 feature films and several other projects, first putting him as my Production Coordinator before giving him more responsibility and duties as my Production Manager after seeing how good he was with whatever I threw at him. He is excellent with crew and commands great respect through example with a knowledge of technical aspects of the required job including sound, video and especially lighting and rigging. He brings his previous knowledge with theatre budgets and that learned on feature films to the job as well.

  The best quality about rob was that he used immense initiative on every task he was given. There were no questions asked and he seemed to get an immediate grip and understanding of everything. Rob has the ability to fully understand what needs to be done in the first instance and gets on with it. He worked beyond the call of duty on a number of occasions and for this we're very grateful.

  Rob was extremely forthcoming with everything and was happy to muck in as part of the team at all times. His skills meant everything was done to schedule and when things suddenly change as they tend to in this business Rob was immediately onto it and rearranged things excellently.
