About me
Fremantle is arguably the world’s largest production and distribution company. I’ve worked for them for 8 years as a senior team leader across their largest scripted and unscripted shows. In my current role as Senior Producer within Global Marketing, I am responsible for launching Fremantle’s new programming by developing and producing best-in-class promotional content strategies and content which engages and innovates. I work closely with producers, distribution, sales, commissioners and our global digital team to plan and produce promotional campaigns, either on behalf of or alongside local broadcasters. I devise and deliver ready-to-use ideas, social first campaigns and expertise to allow our global clients to run their own local campaigns. For three years I lead all digital output for The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, providing editorial direction, commissioning content as well as leading a team of more than 15 people responsible for updating, curating & creating engaging mobile first content for platforms (combining over 20m followers) the play-along and voting app, website, branded content production and live video. . I was responsible for casting the X Factor’s Digital Presenter, Roman Kemp who would bring all of the backstage news and gossip of the show to our digital audience. I worked in collaboration with the Exec Producer and on-air commissioner of ITV2’s Xtra Factor and secured a regular digital segment with Roman Kemp meaning he was a recognisable face across all X Factor’s output platforms and broadcast.
Every project that I approach is with a mobile first mentality, with now over 98% of all social media users accessing content via mobile it’s important to tell stories in the right way that will connect to an audience. I am passionate storyteller who is always ready to push the boundaries in producing content.
In 2019 I produced and directed a shoot in India on behalf of Bend It Productions for ITV’s flagship drama Beecham House, working alongside the main production unit I created a range of short-form mini documentaries to accompany the series. This was part of a wider package of promotional content and bonus material for ancillary uses such as DVD content. I oversaw the post-production, editing and final delivery for the films. The films were later used as extended episodes and broadcast on PBS in America.
I am a versatile Producer with a real can-do attitude brimming with new ideas.
