I am a driven, passionate and creative individual who enjoys meeting new people and learning new skills. I strive to constantly improve my skills in order to maintain a high level of standard within my work. I am actively seeking recruitment for a position within the TV/Film industry.
Additional Information
My particular interest for the Special Effects industry began in 2012, during my time at Heart of Worcestershire College, when I noticed a sense of excitement whilst life casting on an Art and Design course. This led me to embark upon my journey within this sector by pursuing the Theatrical Special Effects and Media Makeup course at University College Birmingham. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the different materials and techniques used within special effects makeup, which steered me in the direction of the Specialist Hair and Media Makeup course.
Whilst studying, I have also gained experience through numerous work placements, including; the Leonardo project in Portugal; applying makeup for a short film 'Troubles Brewing'; Special Effects workshop for Birmingham School of Acting; West Midlands Police training simulation and Keele University medical training simulation. These provided a valuable insight into the Special Effects industry by working with different people in fast paced environments as well as applying and colouring a range of prosthetic pieces.
