Life lived by a twist of 8...

Cassie suffers from a form of OCD called Magical Thinking. Unique to her character, she lives life by her lucky magic 8 ball. When her best friend Lewis is released from prison, her condition worsens. After Lewis failing and getting caught out on his last 'job', local thug Charlie sets out to make an example of him after his time inside. Final member of the trio, Tom is a natural born leader, similar to Lewis. Despite their friendship, Tom has had no trouble stepping into Lewis' shoes as Cassie's love interest. When Cassie's magic 8 ball opposes the original plan set up by Charlie, the pressure rises, and so do tensions - leading to a tragedy. From here, we watch Cassie in the first stages of trauma and denial into her deepest nightmares of a tiny infinity.
