A huntsman tracks something in the woods

A Barren Winter is a short period film set in the winter forests of South Wales, UK. The picture is a simple concept that draws heavy influence from the early gothic productions of Hammer Horror and classic Universal Horror cinema. Across the production we follow a huntsman through the forest terrain as he tries to gather one last haul ready to see him through the rest of the dark season, but little does he know that the deeper he makes his way into the wood the more he becomes prey himself.
