Based on a short story by Isaac Asimov from his anthology of short stories, Nine Tomorrows - A Feeling of Power deals the story set in the distant future of a technician who reverse engineering old computer technology rediscovers the ability of doing simple arithmetic. The powers that be latch on to his discovery and subvert it to their own ends.
